MEB -Life on the Net in a Box

Well Matt we enter yet a new chapter in our relationship as coach and "athlete".  So far we have done the mass market gym, the garage, the box and now we head into new territory the "box on the net".  This by far is the scariest because I have to be completely accountable - yikes!!

So today begins my daily WOD Blog I will let you know thoughts, feelings, aches, pains, ideas on changes etc all without sounding like a whiner - I hope.

My hope is that this works and that we can Skype or Face Time fairly regularly so that you can look me in the eye and keep me honest.

Todays WOD for FUN:

MEB
400 M Row 35 m/sec
15 Front "Air" Squats
30 second AD at 65-70 RPM's
10 Pull ups green band - pull up to fail
30 second AD at 65-70 RPM's
12 Ring Dips - ring dip to fail
30 second AD at 65-70 RPM's
15 back squats with PVC
400 M Row 35 m/sec


Overall comments:
 RPE 3-4  Easy
No issues today -- Squats felt the best today as little to no tightness in the lumbar area.  But I need to focus on staying on my heels and pushing my knees out on my squats.
Row was smooth - goal was 35 m/s but I think I hovered more at 38-39.  Not sure why I couldn't hit goal as I tried to change up legs and arms in row.

Should have increased squats and done two sets to fail on pull ups and ring dips.
Had it been another day I would have changed up my scaling - but sine it was a fun day I really didn't bother.

Couple of goals I am going to add to my list this week:
Short-term
1)  Strict pull ups: 15 with green band without stopping
Once I can do that with out a struggle-  I would like to move to the blue band and in 6 months I would like to be doing strict pull-ups without the band.
2) I would like to train to be at the 15 lb bar by October when I will hopefully get released.

3) 4 WODS a week, 3 land, 1 swim.  And adding in a walk on at least two days.
